Hello

With IPSCALE set to 0x1, how is the current reported when a true current of 15mA is read ?

Does it round or truncate ?

I don't know for sure without testing. Have you tried to read the current with this configuration?

No Matt, I'm not in a position to test that right now, but I have a customer asking for it.

Hi Pietro,

I think it will be best if they can test this on their system with the 15mA and these settings. Since the 15mA is just one LSB the reading will be all zeros or a value of 0x1 from the AFE. The BQ78350 will integrate the readings and not count charge under the Coulomb Counter Deadband which should be set to about 0.3LSB. I cannot test their exact configuration/sense resistor, etc. so it is best if they can log this over a period of time.
