TPS62826: How to understand SWR on MPN label?

Part Number: TPS62826

Hello technical support,

I have purchased a device from mouser

But the (4W) and item on label is different with what we have purchased before.

We want to know whether this part is a engineering sample?

How to understand the difference between TKY and SWR?

Can I use one to replace another?

Hello Peter,

Apologies for the late response.

The samples you have is TPS62826ADMQR based on the body marking (see details below). TPS62826A is the FPWM version of TPS62826 (Auto mode).

If you need TPS62826 (non-A version), it should have a "CL" body code.

Hi Excel,

Sorry,my question is about SWR.

I have read an article in e2e said these units have the SWR label because they were a part of one of the first production runs afeter there was a packaging change to the units.There should be no changes to functionality or device behavior/reliability.

Is it mean that the units have the SWR label is different with engineering samples?Because the engineering samples needs to be further tested to determine the device functionality,fit,form and reliablity.And the units have the SWR label seems to have passed these tests.

Please kindly advise if is right.

Hi Peter,

For this particular case, TPS62826A are production material (RTM version), although it was built under SWR. And it meets all the datasheet specs. Anyway, the SWR sticker should not be placed in the packaging.
