CSD17309Q3: Exposure of silver or silver plating

Is the silver (silver plating) exposed?

    Hello Suzuki-san,

    Thanks for the inquiry. I am the applications engineer for TI's FET product line that includes the CSD17309Q3 and CSD17581Q5AT. You are correct that there is silver (3.25%) in the lead frame. The plating on the leads is tin (Sn) and there is no exposed silver (Ag). You can see this in the product folder under the Ordering & quality tab. You can get detailed material content by clicking on View or download under Quality, reliability and packaging information. I will forward this onto one of the other product teams for other devices in your list.

    This information is available online for most devices, I suggest using John's steps to find this information for the devices. If the information is not available, then I suggest posting about that part.  This will be quicker then trying to get each device checked as different groups within the company will need to be reached. 

    You can see this in the product folder under the Ordering & quality tab. You can get detailed material content by clicking on View or download under Quality, reliability and packaging information

    The lead frame is Tin as well on the ADC082S021.

    I have a question.
    If silver is used in the lead frame but the plating is other than silver (eg Tin), does that mean the product's silver is not exposed?

    Is it common to the following products?

    TXS0102DCUT

    Correct, the plating will not allow for any exposure of the material underneath.
