UCD9090-Q1: I2C bus example for reading MON11

Part Number: UCD9090-Q1

Just want to make sure i understand how to read MON11 for UCD9090-Q1.

Based off of this link it sounds like you can only read MON11 as current or temperature (link). Is that true?

Assuming that is true then they just need to follow the following link (SLVA385) and refer to section 4.2 or 4.3? Based off the "Select the Rail" section of 4.1 - MON11 = PAGE10? Is that also correct?

Regards,

Kevin

  • Hi

Yes, the SLVA384 section 4 is the correct reference to read voltage, current and temperature via pmbus command.

But MON11 does not mean it is PAGE 10. MON 11 can be any rail which is up to how customer configure.

For example, the below case, MON11 is rail 2(PAGE index is 1)
