Hi,

Good day!

We are planning to use BQ2970 for over current protection of  2S battery pack . Will this be suitable?

    Hello,

    The device does support overcurrent protection for charge and discharge. There is no way to disable the other protections that come with chip, however. If you use this device for over-current you will also have other protections like OVP and UVP.
