BQ25181EVM: Battery Management Studio

Part Number: BQ25181EVM

Is there a .bqz file for this part please. I do not have an usb2any adaptor and the EV2400 I have doesn't appear to work with the online EVM GUI. Thanks.

    Mark,

    Oh also, while I get started on this, just wanted you to be aware that you would need to ensure that the connection from the EV2400 to the BQ25181EVM is possible as I don't believe they are compatible by default with the connectors provided. You want to ensure that the SDA and SCL pins are connected.

    Hi Mark,

    I've attached a preliminary bqz file to get you started. I've verified communication and operation when connected properly. The only thing I'm still working on is the charge current setting due to the formula implemented for the device having different increments before and after 35 mA. I thought I'd get this to you to at least try out the device. 

    To configure that properly, I'd recommend using the advanced communication tab and setting the register as desired. Let me know if there are any further questions regarding the BQ25181! I'd be happy to answer them.

    Hi Anthony,

    Thank you for the .bqz file I can confirm connectivity and operation are fine. No problem with the empty ICHG pulldown, ICHG easily set by REG04. Thanks again.
