Hi,
I designed a battery management system for a 6S LiPo battery. I used two of BQ7791500 in stack configuration. For the sake of clarity, please find below the schematic.
The BMS has been designed with an overcurrent threshold of 48 A.
I have the following behaviors: after 4.5 s the discharge stops regardless of:
- temperature issues (I placed 10 kOhm resistors on RT1 and RT2). Please find below the measurements on TS pin (pin 18) of both BQ7791500;
- current issues: both with a small load (1 A) connected or without any load connected the FETs open;
- voltage issues: any undervoltage condition and/or unbalancing conditions are present (I also use also a power supply instead of a battery as suggested in the document SLUUBU2B - bq77915 3-5S Low Power Protector Evaluation Module).
I need support in order to identify the problem.
