Hi Expert,
As we know some times we recommend to add ripple injection to improve transient performance.
my question is how to select voltage rating for C1?

Mark

Use 50V or greater for the RCC capacitors.
Hi David,
May I know how to come out 50V or greater voltage rating of capacitor more better?
customer would to know the theory, could you share more detail for this?

Mark
The rule of thumb is 2x maximum input voltage VIN, since the sw node rings and Rinj can vary in value based on the design. The TPS53319 is rated to 22V. Voltage ratings for capacitors are discrete 16V, 25V, 50V etc. It is easiest to state in datasheet use a 50V rated capacitor
