TPS92623-Q1: thermal sharing

Part Number: TPS92623-Q1

Hi team,

I have a question about the thermal shelling of TPS92623. I understood that the voltage across R(SNS1) is compared by the operational amplifier and constant current control is performed. I also comprehended that the resistance connected to RES1 after that consumes excessive heat, and the timing of switching between OUT1 and RES1 can be adjusted by the resistance value.

However, what kind of mechanism is the part that switches between these two output terminals? Is there a function to monitor current or voltage in the yellow frame in the figure?
