Hi team,

I have a question about the thermal shelling of TPS92623. I understood that the voltage across R_(SNS1) is compared by the operational amplifier and constant current control is performed. I also comprehended that the resistance connected to RES₁ after that consumes excessive heat, and the timing of switching between OUT₁ and RES₁ can be adjusted by the resistance value.

However, what kind of mechanism is the part that switches between these two output terminals? Is there a function to monitor current or voltage in the yellow frame in the figure?

Thank you for sending the link. I understand how to design. Is it okay to think that the current is distributed by comparing the current with an operational amplifier or something inside and turning the transistor on / off?
