Hi,

I am trying to implement the sample code "BQ79616_Sample_Code" for the Hercules TMS570LS12 given in the "BQ79616-Q1 Software Design Reference" document. After running the coding and measuring the SCI signals transmitted by the TMS570LS12 with a Logic Analyzer, I noticed that some invalid frames were transmitted, as shown in the figure below.
What can be wrong? How can I solve it?

Hi Alexsandra,

From what I can see on the attached image it seems like your logic analyzer does not have the correct baud rate set.

Please, what in the image indicates that the baud rate is not correctly configured?
The sampling frequency used in the Logic Analyzer was 50 MHz, and the UART baud rate is 1 MHz.
There were errors only in the stop bit, so it doesn't seem to me to be a baud rate configuration problem, otherwise, errors would also have happened in the other bits

Alexsandra,

Please look at the attached image, I have aligned the bits to show your analyzer mistake. Also keep in mind that the data capture seems to be a 2 stop bit configuration.
