Hi Team,

Can someone help clarify for me how the output discharge function works for this device. Do we just engage a pull-down resistor if the device is disabled, thermal shutdown occurs, or UVLO occurs? The max specified pull-down resistance looks to be 100-Ω, so I believe that's all that's occurring, but want to verify.

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for your question.

    The output discharge function enables a resistance (max 100 Ohm), to discharge the output capacitor to GND.

    This function is activated when one of the conditions described in the datasheet occurs.

    Please pays attention that not all the part numbers have this feature.
