Hey Folks,

I am working on BQ34110 to calculate the end of Service of a specific battery (my case: LiFePo4). Technical Reference manual provided me the steps and parameters to get the Initial Rcell values. Rrate values and Rcell values. But i cant find the way to calculate the end of life in days.

Is there any way to calculate the end of life of a battery using the parameters in days.

    Hello Kunal,

    The gauge cannot give a end of life determination in days, the EOS function measures the internal resistance of the battery, it is up to your EOS settings to trigger the warnings. EOS can vary greatly depending on the conditions of the battery (hot, cold, previous discharges, etc) so we only report alerts depending on how much the internal resistance has changed.
