I use Bq20z45-R1 before, Then I change Bq20z45-R1 to

Now I have problem below:

I use Bq20z45-R and BQ40Z50-R2 use same device Charge   RSOC 0 to 100 % time is same.

and I discharge 100 to 0 % time is same.

But I have problem below:

The BQ40Z50-R2 Manager Battery have problem

When I discharge from 100% to   below 50%

Then switch off device and wait 5 hour ,check RSOC drop 3~8%,

Then I continuous wait 10 hour 

The RSOC will drop 3%

Why it is Problem?

Please help me.

  • Hello Hung,

    When you reset the gauge the gauge looses the RAM memory where the SOC parameters are stored, so the gauge must recalculate the SOC based on the OCV. If you are seeing a significant drop of SOC after a relaxation, that means your chem ID you programmed is most likely incorrect. Make sure you have found your cehm ID using the GPCCHEM tool and performed a learning cycle before testing accuracy.
