LM5140-Q1: Efficiency drop with 30A

Part Number: LM5140-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5143,

Dear All,

Here are 2 outputs that I'm trying to achieve:

Output I

  • Input voltage: 46-54V
  • Output voltage: 12V +/-5%
  • TDP: 250W (30A)
  • OCP: 50A
  • Type: non isolated
  • Ambient: 60C
  • Cooling: ?
  • Enable: required.

Output II (optional)

  • Input voltage: 46-54V
  • Output voltage: 3.3V +/-5%
  • TDC: 3A
  • OCP: 10A
  • Type: non isolated
  • Ambient: 60C
  • Cooling: ?
  • Enable: required.

I found out that the LM5140 supporting these 2 output but with relative low efficiency (86.1% with 30A).

Is there any other device with higher efficiency at 30A load that can support 2 outputs?

is there any way we can improve the device efficiency?

best regards.
