  • Hello Autocar,

    It looks like there is a lot of noise during the whole charge and discharge cycle, are you using a EVM or custom PCB? It looks like there is noise getting into the coulomb counting ADC which may be switching noise or other coupling on the PCB.

  • Hello Hung,

    I don't see anything in particular that would cause this kind of noise from the schematic and layout shared, it may be coming from the charger or other interference. Are you able to measure the current with a current probe to see if it this noisy from the charger or there is something else causing the noise?

    The deadband will still prevent the small values from being reported, they will still be coulomb counted though so it is best to try to mitigate the noise as much as possible.
