You don't want to use Fusion Digital Power Designer at all. You want to use the latest version of Fusion Digital Power Studio here:

Actually I would suggest making sure you install the Device GUI and use that to download and debug, if you are developing firmware. If you are not familiar with the UCD, I suggest trying some of the training labs.
