[FAQ] LP8732-Q1: PGOOD Triggers when output voltage is adjusted

Part Number: LP8732-Q1

This FAQ applies to LP8732x, LP8733x, LP8732x-Q1, LP8733x-Q1.

In LP873x-Q1 devices the PGOOD triggers always when output voltage is adjusted through I2C command no matter how small voltage step is applied. To overcome this and avoid SoC reset (if PGOOD is used as nRESET signal) PGOOD monitoring needs to be disabled for the buck with I2C command (in PGOOD_CTRL1 register) before adjusting the voltage. Once the voltage is adjusted and voltage has settled the PGOOD monitoring can be enabled without glitch in the PGOOD signal.
