I Intend to control VSEL3 from a MPU that is powered from TPS82740B. I don't have any pull up. Starting up after a battery change (that will accur every 10year) will put VSEL in a floating condition until the program starts. Is this acceptable. I have VSEL1 and VSEL2 connected to GND. The MPU acceptes voltages from 1.8 to 3V.

Hi Per,

This may be alright. Since VSEL1 and VSEL2 are grounded, the max output voltage will be 3V, if the device interprets the floating VSEL3 as high.

Hi Per,

The device could interpret the floating VSEL3 as either a high or low. The low will result in a lower output of 2.6V and a high will result in a higher output of 3V.
