TL1963A-Q1: TL1963 thermal margin

Hi team,

We have design in TL1963-Q1 replacing OnSemi NCV57152DSADJR4G. From datasheet description, the operation temperature range is up to 125C. However, in the abs max rating table the max junction temperature is also 125C. 

Could you please help clarify why max ambient temp and max junction temp is the same? With competitor socket, the highest case temp is measured to be 118C, so customer worries about with our IC it will exceed the max junction temperature.

    Hey Scarlett,

    The operation temperature range and the max junction temperature range are both 125C because this is a Grade 1 qualified device. 

    For this newer design, could the customer use something like TLV767-Q1 instead?
