TLV803: Asking for TLV803M design review and suggestions

Hi Team,

Customer designed TLV803M on their project.

However, customer suffered the issue with different reset voltage for different manufactory side from China and Tailand.

Would you please help review schematic and see any concern for this schematic?

One thing I found is there is no pull up resistor. One pin connect to scalar GPIO(audio-SD PIN )and scalar inside is push pull structure.

Will that impact this TLV803M reset pin output behavior?

VDD (CH1)and RESET(CH2) pin’s waveform for China chips

VDD (CH1)and RESET(CH2) pin’s waveform for Thailand chips

Hi SHH,

Thank you for your question, I'll be happy to help. The concerning part I see is that there are both a 10Kohm pull up, in U401 R420, and a 10Kohm pull down, in U601 R628, on the Audio_SD line which will cause a voltage divider.

R420 is not populated. only R628 is on the PCB.

TLV803 is an Open drain active low device, that being said the R420 should be populated rather than the R628, because the nReset requires a pull up.
