TPS2388: Some questions for design it

Hello Expert,

Our customer is considering PSE design w/ TPS2388 or TPS2388x.

So I have some questions that I have to do consider for it.

Could you please let me know it about each questions?

1. Our customer plan to configure 802.3at (30W) per each Port, total 16 ports.

    So, They will consider to design 16Port by configuring two TPS2388 or TPS2388x.

    For example, if it is configured with 16Port & 30W, the total power of PSE is 480W.

    However, the customer cannot do the 480W design.

    If designing with 300W, is there a way to share or control the limited POWER for each port, or is there a guide or driver that can manage power?

    For your reference, the customer is using MICROCHIP (MICROSEMI), and they said that they are currently using it in this way.

2. If they design with 30W per port, please recommend each peripheral device (LDO, MOSFET, ISOLATOR, RESET IC).

    Do I need a RESET IC?

    ex) LDO = LM5019, MOSFET = CSD19538Q3A, ISOLATOR = ISO7241CDW, RESET IC = TPS389001DSER

3. Programmable Port Power Limiting is not port off, but is it correct to continue to supply as power limit?

4. What's the difference between Programmable PCUT and Programmable ICUT?

    Which feature do you recommendation?

5. Our customer want to use TPS2388 because of low cost than others.

    But, I want to know what is your recommended part about 8ch component.
