TPS25940-Q1: load current and IN voltage

Dear team,

1. Can our device work normally when the load current is 100mA he 18mA respectively? If can, what are the current sampling accuracy? What is the resolution?

2. Can our device's IN pin withstand 18V for 1hour, 26.5V for 1minute without damage？

Hi Sherry,

1. Do you want to know current monitor accuracy at 100mA?

2. Device can withstand 18V for 1 hour as it is recommended max voltage and device can operate at it easily. 26.5V is way beyond abs max voltage of 20V and will damage device.

Sherry,

1. We do not characterize accuracy at 100mA. But worst case accuracy is 8% generally for this part.

2. Device can allow any current based on load. It can allow 18mA. But minimum current limit for this device is 0.6A. So device will allow current from 0 to 0.6A before it starts limiting.

How much current limit customer want?
