Hi, I am using LP2985AIM5-1.5/NOPB for noise sensitive application. Supply in is from USB 5V. Output 3v3 serves the analogue domain. I split the analogue and digital domains for the sake of being cautious. In the design I connect the Bypass capacitor of 10nF between CBYP pin and Ground that belongs to the input side. My thought process was, because the internal Ref is related to the input side of the LDO and this bypass capacitor is for it then its wise to be on the ground associated to the input side. Is my argument correct? or should I have the bypass capacitor connected to the Ground (AGND) associated with the output side? I understand the LDO only has one GND and in general layout rules handles the return path aspects. But here I need to have this as separate because of USB power in....
