TPS7A4701-EP: application of external voltage source while regulator is disabled (3.3 Vdc & 1.2Vdc)

Part Number: TPS7A4701-EP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS74401-EP

Team,

I have a design using both the TPS7A4701-EP  and the TPS74401-EP and wondering if I apply an external voltage source to the output while the regulator is disabled if it will cause an issue.

essentially Will externally-supplied voltage source at output be a problem for internal circuit blocks within the regulator, e.g. feedback error amplifier?

In summary:

TPS7A4701-EP  (generates 3.3 Vdc) & TPS74401-EP to generate 1.2 Vdc.

Input voltage applied = 5 Vdc.

Disable the regulator by pulling enable pin low.

Key:  application of external voltage source while regulator is disabled (3.3 Vdc & 1.2Vdc).

Disabling = no drive to series pass bipolar txtr.
