Hi,

I'm using a TPS6590377 PMIC for powering AM5718 processor.

due to size constraint, can place PMIC in another Board.(child card)

    Hi Damodara,

    We do not recommend placing the PMIC on a separate board from the processor. The board to board connectors can cause issues due to the increased parasitic inductance and capacitance of the connectors in comparison to a normal copper trace. This can cause ringing, poor voltage regulation, etc that can cause issues with the processor.
