I see below description in "Working With Inverting Buck-Boost Converters". IBB has much lower efficiency than buck. Why do they have so much loss difference? What's the major power loss increase? Thanks.

Because of the larger voltage and current stresses in an IBB, when compared to the buck, the power loss of the IBB will be greater.
please read detail in 4.1 and 4.2 part ,for voltage and current stress ,compared with IBB and buck.
