Hi,
As in this given thread explained, how to program the flash the configuration settings generated by web GUI. I am curious what will be the function of USB2ANY connector J3 on TIDA-050047?

Flash the EEPROM

What parameters you can configure with the USB2ANY connector? Can we also flash EEPROM with it?

If we can't flash EEPROM configuration through it then why do we need it?

Hello,

The intended use of the J3 is to talk to the to the I2Cs lines on the TPS25750. If you configure the pass-through mode correctly you could program the EEPROM through the I2Cs lines passing through to the I2Cm lines. However, I would not recommend doing it this way, and would suggest to use the Aadrvark programmer or the clip on EEPROM flasher in the referenced link above.

I will use the Aardvark programmer to flash the configurations. So I believe, I don't need this connector at any stage of programming. Correct me if I am wrong? I have very tight space on board and I don't want any unnecessary components on board. Although, it is intended for a prototype.

Hello,

Unless you want to communicate commands from a microcontroller to the TPS25750 and potentially passing through the TPS25750 you do not need this header.
