LM3550: Overhead voltage does not seem to change when changing settings in register 0xB0

Part Number: LM3550

Good afternoon,

I have the circuit shown in the picture and I am trying to use it in optimal mode.
I operate using an external strobe signal and my settings are as follow:

GENERAL PURPOSE REGISTER= 0x22
CURRENT REGISTER= 0xF8
OPTIONS= 0x0A
All my I2C transactions are successful and I can write to the registers and readback the correct value.

The problem is that even if I change the content of OH2, OH1 and OH0 in the Options register, the cap seems to always charge at the same value of ~2.9V and correspondigly, the LED intensity does not change at all.
The 3 images below show the strobe signal (in blue), Vcap (red, indicated as LED_A) and LED_K (green).

Is this the expected behaviour of the driver? Am I missing something? I would expect to see the red trace to change amplitude depending on the settings of OH2, OH1, OH0.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Paolo
