Hi,
I'm using a TPS63000 to provide a 3.3V supply from a Lithium Ion cell. Schematic below:
I try to use this converter with a light load about 1-2 mA, so I decided to increase the inductance to reduce the inductor ripple current and the lower the conduction losses of the converter. But I observe unusual consumption.
When I turn on the device for the first time, I see acceptable consumption.
Then I turn off the device, and then turn it on again. But the consumption is getting too high.
This is repeated in order.
Please help to understand where I get wrong.
