TPS7A7300: rise time inquiry

Hello Guys,

Our customer have some clarification on TPS7A7300. Since the data sheet does not specify a concrete range for which the input voltage rise-time should be. They are using a 1.8V power rail to feed Vin that rises up to voltage in 300-900 microseconds. They would like to know if this rise-time is acceptable for this particular LDO voltage regulator.

    Hi Art,

             This device has a Soft-Start (SS) pin and the VOUT rise time will vary with the value of the capacitor connected to this pin. The power rail having a rise time of 900uSec will not cause any issues in the operation of the LDO. Thanks!
