In the figure below, I2C connection is not made with AWR1843, but I2C connection is made with AWR1843 Boost.

Yes, you are correct. The I2C connection is omitted from the figure but real application usually has I2C connectivity between the PMIC and AWR.

I don't really understand the question. The bus could be used to, for example, read the status registers of LP87702-Q1 and configure the watchdog during long window.
