LP87564-Q1: 1.03V from 5V 3MHz switching

Hi team,

My customer cannot use 2MHz switching due to EMI test limit. This device can select the switching frequency from 2, 3 or 4MHz by OTP, right?

So I'd like to suggest them to select 3MHz switching. Can this device output 1.03V from 5V input with 3MHz switching?

I think it's okay because the on time is longer than "0.6V output from 5.5V input with 2MHz switching" case.

Please give me your advice.

Hello Atsushi,

Yes it is possible to select 2, 3, or 4MHz SW frequency.

0.9V is the minimum output voltage with 5.5V input, so 1.03V with 5V input is not a problem.

In another project, my customer needs 0.85V output from 5V input.

Is it possible that LP87564-Q1 can output 0.85V with both 2MHz and 3MHz?

Hi Atsushi,

For 0.85V they would need to use 2MHz switching frequency. And all bucks must operate at same frequency.
