originally they were interested in the TPS63811, which offers an I2C Interface.

this is also what they are looking for, but with the specs mentioned above.

that is right, there is no I2C function with TPS63901.

is it a must have function?  what they use I2C for?

actually, we rarely have such buck-boost converter but TPS63810 and TPS63811.

customer needs multiple output options. therefore they need the I2C.

Fine regulationin the low current range (50mA) is also a must have.
