TLV743P: Application problem

Hi Team，

Datasheet shown that the TLV743P overtemperature protection is 160℃. But they don't provide the tolerance. Would you please help me to provide it? For this chip, does they will verify the production overtemperature protection?

Hello Yadong,

160C is a transient specification. It varies depending on the load and application and you will have to determine that value based on your application.

Any value above 140C is possible, but it will typically be around 150C-160C.

Will it be verify by ATE before shipment? For the overcurrent function, it's ensured by design, right?

I am sorry for missing your reply, abs min and abs max values are verified on DS.

Overtemperature can fluctuate from part to part, which is why it is given a typical value.
