TPSM82903EVM: Not being able to simulate the design in Webench

Hello

I'm trying to simulate a DCDC stage based on that module. Built the stage in the Webench and the tool provdes the text report but for some reason clicking on Simulate tab responds with the short message that simulation is not available for this design

I need the simulations with check out the steady state ripple, start-up, line regulation

Please advise

Hi Alex,

Currently we do not have a simulation model available for this device. That is why it is not available in WEBENCH. You can use a 1uH/40mohm inductor on the TPS62903 simulation model to gauge the TPSM82903 behavior.

I just checked the TPS62903 in Webench, surprisingly, slicking on Simulation is also reports that simulation is not avaliable for this device

Hi Alex,

You can only simulate using standalone model at https://www.ti.com/product/TPS62903#design-tools-simulation Download and install the "PSPICE-FOR-TI" simulator and simulate the "TPS62903 Pspice transient model" with it.
