TPS65910: Should OSC32KIN pin be connected to GND when the internal 32kHz RC oscillator is used ?

Hello guys,

One of my customers is drawing a schematic for their own PCB to evaluate TPS65910 as a power supply for AM3352BZCZ100.
At this moment, they have the following questions about TPS65910. Could you please give me your reply for them?

Q1. Should OSC32KIN pin be connected to GND when the internal 32kHz RC oscillator is used?

Q2. Is it OK to leave SW3 pin (No.31) open and to connect VFB3 pin (No.30) to GND when SMPS VDD3 is not used?

Could I ask you an additional question because I couldn't find any answer in the document?

Q. Can SCLSR_EN1 pin(No.11) and SDASR_EN2 pin(No.10) of TPS65910 be connected to VAUX33
not to SDA_SDI pin(No.8) and SCL_SCK pin (No.9)?

Hi Kazuya,

SCLSR_EN1 pin(No.11) and SDASR_EN2 pin(No.10) of TPS65910 are for processor I2C for SmartReflex control. If you have no need of the SmartReflex control, you can pull them up to VDDIO by resistors.

It's recommended connecting them to SDA_SDI pin(No.8) and SCL_SCK pin (No.9); they have different I2C address and save 2 pull up resistors.
