TPS61165: Application Question

Hey team,

What are your thoughts on the TPS61165 to drive an LCD backlight that needs a 20V supply at 60mA as well as dimming? Vin ranges from 10-17V. Is there a different part I should be suggesting? Let me know offline is there is a roadmap part that would be a better fit. RTM is June 23.

    Any information on the LED string voltage and dimming requirement(analog dimming or PWM dimming)?

    Based on information mentioned above, I think TPS61165 can fit both in input voltage range and current capability. Other features of this device are supporting LED string voltage up to 38V but only available for analog dimming.

    Actually we also have new devices in development with much better dimming performance and various dimming modes. I can share with you offline by mail if you are interested. Also I would like to know the end equipment and possible volume of the project.
