Hi Team,
My customer use bq2962XX in the battery application, but the system side would like to use "REG" pin to support the other device of the system.
As far as I know, the max output current of REG pin is 2mA in DS. But they found the bq2962XX seems to have IREG_SC_Limit is 4mA. Plus, the competitor has a way to increase this LDO output current by changing the resistor value(such as our RVDD). Based on that, the customer has a couple of questions as the following:
a. Does TI have any way/suggestion (such as change RVDD)that can increase the output current is more than 2mA? If yes, how many can the max value be? How to design?
b. If the REG current can be designed to be more than 2mA, will it have a different connection/structure for 2series/3series/4series?
