LM76003:I need you to check if the schematic is OK.

■Conditions
Input voltage: 48V
Output voltage: 42V
Output current: 2.4A(MAX)

Is CFF required?
The result of the calculation using the formula in the specifications is a large number, over 100pF.

    The Fsw is about 2MHz which is too high for 48V to 42V because of Toff-min limitation and thermal issue. 

    Pls check if 400KHz workable for you

    I have an additional question about the heat dissipation design.

    My question is based on the RθJA vs Copper Area graph in the specification sheet. (P.44)

    Example) 4-layer board
    Am I correct in understanding that RθJA will be approximately 19°C/W if the total area of GND from layer 1 to layer 4 is secured to be 40 mm x 40 mm or more?
    Or is a GND area of 40㎜×40㎜ required for each layer?

    It's the GND area required for each layer, i.e, the board size is 40mmx40mm
