Hi team,
As shown in the datasheet, if the application has an inductive load connected to OUT7, it is recommended to use an external Schottky diode to protect the OUT7 pin from negative transients larger than those listed in the Absolute Maximum Ratings table.
Why is there a special emphasis on OUT7? It's because the design of the output OUT1-6 inside the chip are different? Does the OUT 1-6 need an external Schottky diode?
