TPS25947: TPS259472L in parallel

Hi,

I plan to use two TPS259472L in parallel.

I connected PG of 1st device to EN/UVLO pin of 2nd device, but am not clear how to connect other pins of 2nd device.

Other pins: OVCSEL, ITIMER, DVDT, PGTH, and ILM

Resistor or capacitor is connected to other pins of 1st device. Which case is better for 2nd device, connected to same pin of 1st device or connected to resistor or capacitor of same value with 1st device.

    Hi Yoonsun,

    Thanks for reaching out! Please follow like below way:

    1. Keep dvdt of second device open.

    2. Use separate ILIM resistors. Keep ILIM value of first device 10% less than second device.

    3. Use separate ITIMER resistors with same value on each pin.

    4. Use OVCSEL pin separately

    5.PGTH can be shorted

    6. Recommended to use latched variant of device.

    Can I know why ILIM resistor value of 1st device is less than 2nd device? I read "both device share current nearly equally" on page 55 of datasheet, so I thought that ILIM resistors would be same value.

    2> Current monitor

    What is the maximum voltage of VILM? I want to read VILM and calculate Iout if possible. Is there a recommend schematic for current monitor?
