TPS65216: Which version of the TPS65217 is the same as the TPS652162

The TPS65217 is listed as pin to pin with the TPS65216. Currently the TPS652162 is being used (For AM571x). Which version (OPN) of the TPS65217 would be the correct replacement for the TPS65216?

    Hi Nick,

    I don't think the TPS65217 can serve as a pin-to-pin replacement for the TPS65216. On our product page for the TPS65216 PMIC, the TPS65218D0 is listed as a drop-in replacement and the TPS65219 is listed with similar functionality. I would recommend one of those options over the TPS65217.

    Alternatively, you can go to our page for FPGA power solutions and look at our suggested PMICs for the Sitara AM57x family of products.
