TPS50601A-SP: TPS50601A-SP

Part Number: TPS50601A-SP

Hi,

I would like to represent the effect of a missing pulse or a double pulses perturbation caused by an external phenomena on the TPS50601A. I am currently working on a buck converter simulation circuit for a space application instead of using your SPICE models, which do no respond to my need.

I didn't represent the regulation stages (OTA, current comparator, oscillators, current limiter) because I do not have enough information to create models.

For my need I just act on the PWM, simulating a correction by imposing a signal on the high_side and low_side switches, normally commanded by a fixed PWM signal.

In my application a missing pulse creates a certain overvoltage and I simulate the regulation by closing the low side switch, one period after the missing pulse. All this in order to have the maximum deviation value, I am not interested on the other oscillations.

My concern is about the reaction time of the regulation loop.

In my application I fixed it at 4.65µs (a period of cutting signal). Do you think it's a representative time ?

I can give more information about my circuit (self, capacitors, comp pin circuit or others) if it's not enough to judge.

Thanks

Tom
