UCD3138PSFBEVM-027: Maximum Timer Frequency and FIQ Cycles

I was wondering what the maximum timer16 frequency was, and how many cycles in takes for the FIQ to respond?

Also, if I increase the timer to trigger the fast interrupt too fast, the device stops responding and is unable to be programmed. Any idea why?

Hi,

FIQ is 4 switching cycles, and switching cycle is about 7.2us

Timer 16 is used to generate 100us standard interrupt.

If FIQ is called too frequently, there is no time left to process PMBus commands, and the device doesn't respond.
