Hi,
I would like to analyze the loop gain characteristics of the TPS62130A.
The free version of the SIMPLIS simulator seems to be difficult to simulate due to functional limitations.
Do you have a good idea?
Thanks,
Astro

Hi Astro,
Yes, the free version of SIMPLIS is unable to simulate this part because of the topology size.
PSPICE can be used for loop gain characteristics, though it is not as straightforward as the SIMPLIS model. Refer to this APP note for PSPICE loop response Understanding and Simulation of Loop Stability Test for DC/DC Converters .
Another option would be using the EVM to measure the loop response if you have the right setup to do that.
Typically, we also have loop gain characteristics in the WEBENCH models, however it is not included for this part.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks,
Joseph
