BQ27Z561-R1: RELAX_JUMP_OK & RELAX_SMOOTH_OK

Part Number: BQ27Z561-R1

Dear expert,

Why we have two flag to control SoC jump during relax? RELAX_JUMP_OK & RELAX_SMOOTH_OK

RELAX_SMOOTH_OK control smooth engine but RELAX_JUMP_OK control like temperature change case?

When RELAX_SMOOTH_OK=1, smooth engine begin to work after Smooth Relax Time , right?

  • RELAX_JUMP_OK means that the gauge will allow synchronization (="a jump") between latest simulation results (true SOC,RM,FCC) and smoothed results while the gauge is in relax state, if the temperature changes by more than (default) 5 deg.C.

RELAX_SMOOTH_OK controls, if the gauge keeps smoothing results in relax state. If it's false, the smoothed results will stay constant in relax state (unless RELAX_JUMP_OK is set and temperature changes above the threshold).

  • Dominik,

    Great thanks
