Hi Kevin,

Do you have the datasheet of the Lithium Carbon Capacitor that you are going to use?

The BQ25173 output regulation voltage can be set to 4.2V and the charge profile can be found on datasheet page 10. If the charging requirements listed in the spec of the Lithium Carbon Capacitor is matching the charging profile with no pre-charge stage and termination required, then BQ25173 can be used to charge the lithium carbon capacitors.
