TPS62067: Query on TPS62067 part

Hi Team,

We are planned to use the TPS62067 part in our design instead of NCV part of On semi. Both parts are have similar specs of SW frequency, Vref , foot pirnt and others. But while replacing the part we are unable to get the Vout voltage. It shows zero volt. Please see the below are the schematic. Pls suggest us what could be the problem. Actually this part output is connected to TI serializer part (DS90UH983RTDTQ1).

Hi Gunasekar,

The schematic looks good except for the inductor. The maximum effective Inductance possible is 1.6uH for this device.

How many boards show the same problem?

Did you try replacing with a new device?

Hi Febin,

Thanks for response. Still now, we are connected the new device in two boards but both the boards we observed zero volt (0.1V). In schematic PG pin we are left open , hope this wont be a problem. In serializer part side we have around total 47uF capacitance value.

Are you confirming that problem with inductance value?

Hi Gunasekar,

I suggest to isolate the converter and re-test. Please change the inductor to a lower value and effective output capacitance <22uF.
