Does the UCC28180 have a protection when the VSENSE pin accidentally becomes open (= OVP)?

Hello Hayashi-San,

The UCC28180 has an internal pull down current of 100nA for VSENSE (OLP). Thus, if VSENSE becomes open, the 100nA will pull that node low. Once VSENSE is <0.82V, the controller will enter standby mode.
