LM5060: If this can be used as a battery protector

Part Number: LM5060
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100, , BQ34Z100EVM, LM5069, TPS4811-Q1, TPS1663

Hello TI  Support Team,

I wanted to know if I can use LM5060 to control the voltage discharge from a battery. I have designed a BQ34Z100 EVM and I want to use a protector to prevent overvoltage and current during load startup conditions. The load would be DC stepper Motor.

I would also like to know if this device allows for bidirectional flow of power to also charge the battery.

If this product does not meet these requirements could you kindly suggest an alternative.

I would be using a battery pack of 13S3P (60V,4A(normal),6A for 1ms). I require a protector for the entire battery pack and cannot connect the protector to individual cells .

Thanks
